Manual and motorized positioning systems and optical beam guidance systems for up to eXtrem ultra high vacuum XUHV 1E (-11) mbar<\/h4>\n

\nThe foundation stone was laid in 1980 with the standard product range of positioners and optical components. In the early 2000s, OWIS began developing products for vacuum applications in pressure ranges from 1E (-6) mbar. The vacuum product line has been integrated into the standard range at OWIS since 2009.
\nIn 2017, OWIS expanded this line with the ultra high vacuum with 1E (-9) mbar. Two years later, OWIS developed pressure ranges of 1E (-11) mbar, the so-called eXtrem ultra high vacuum. The development of the OWIS UHV and XUHV products was made possible by the funding of the ZIM (Central Innovation Program for SMEs) based on a decision by the German Bundestag. The vacuum product line includes manual and motorized linear tables as well as optical components, rails and riders. Customized special constructions are also possible. The individual parts are cleaned, assembled, measured, tested and packaged in the OWIS clean rooms.<\/p>\n
